Visitor Day is a story-driven mixed-reality adventure for Meta Quest 3/3S. When an unexpected alien visitor arrives through a portal in your room, you must communicate, explore your real surroundings, and complete strange missions to help it survive.

Talk naturally with a mysterious alien that listens and responds to you, find real-world objects around you that the game can actually see and recognize, and watch as your room becomes part of an unpredictable sci-fi adventure. From everyday objects to the conversations you have, Visitor Day blurs the line between your world and the alien one - making your space, your voice, and the things around you part of the game.

Install instructions

This app uses Meta Quest Experimental Features, so it cannot currently be distributed through the Meta Quest Store. It must be installed manually using SideQuest.

Before installing

Make sure your headset has:

  • Developer Mode enabled
  • Experimental Features enabled
  • SideQuest installed on your PC
  • Your Quest connected to the PC via USB

How to install

  1. Download the .apk and .obb files from this page.
  2. Connect your Meta Quest to your PC using USB.
  3. Put on the headset and accept the USB Debugging prompt.
  4. Open SideQuest and make sure your headset appears as connected.
  5. Click Install APK file from folder and select the downloaded .apk.
  6. Copy the .obb file to: Android/obb/com.XRLucho.VisitorDay/using SideQuest's file manager. 
  7.  Put on your Quest and open: App Library → Unknown Sources
  8. Launch the game.
